How do you measure a year?

Okay, okay. A great play, a good movie, a cheesy opening sentence for a blog. 

Well, I have been thinking on topics for about a year now and they have pretty much stopped there...a list of topics handwritten in a spiral notebook.  In no particular order mind you, just scribbled down whenever I thought of something worthy of my two cents someday.

And I believe SOMEDAY has arrived.  I am pretty certain there are enough ponderings to fill a year's worth of blogging.  

So I shall measure my year with words.

Note, I wrote my year.  My plan is to write for myself; however, I truly hope my blog inspires, enlightens, humors, comforts or simply entertains someone for even ten minutes of my year.
